I love this picture. I think it fits this week’s theme, connected, quite beautifully.

That’s my friend Sarah with Otis, the puppy-not-puppy that has stolen my heart. He likes everybody, mostly. He greets everyone with joy, and wants a little bit of acknowledgment for his efforts. A pat on the head, a scratch behind the ears. If he really likes you he’ll lean into you hard, and then drop to a fully prone position.

Goofball.

He’s a good companion, a furry friend. It’s impossible to ignore his unconditional love. We should listen to each other with this level of attention, shouldn’t we? There’d be fewer  misunderstandings.
