Novena Day 4: Our Lady of Charity

Today’s Day 4 prayer in the blogging novena is hosted by Lisa Hendey. I’m blessed to call her friend, spiritual sister, and dare-I-say, partner in crime. Well, perhaps partner-in-shenanigans: Lisa is a good girl after all. As I learned more about Our Lady of Charity as I was writing the book, I reflected on how essential these friendships are…and how essential it is for us to develop good and holy associations with our brothers and sisters in Christ. After all, if we call Mary our mother, that also makes us brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ. Amen!

Read Lisa’s lovely post here, and look around at the other amazing things she’s got going on! Don’t forget to leave a comment to be entered in a drawing for a copy of Our Lady of Charity: How a Cuban Devotion to Mary Helped Me Grow in Faith and Love.
