I got Inland North… 13 years in Spain has done strange things to my SoCal “accent”. And I say soda and not “pop”!!!!!!

So, although I’m from Baltimore and I have that accent, the quiz told me that I have a Midland accent. And, gee, it sounds much like the West accent: “You have a Midland accent” is just another way of saying “you don’t have an accent.” You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.”

I got Midland, and I’m not from any of those places, and I also don’t think I have an accent. Unless I hang around with my Oklahoma family for a while, then it shows up!
