This is almost old school Catholicism, isn’t it? I was raised with this in Catholic schools, but kids nowadays…..not so much. Kind of sad, I think. Beautiful post. And look–it’s morning and I am able to read it! Thank you , Maria.
Nice! And yes. This little plastic statue of Our Lady of Fatima sits among Mentos, juicy fruit gum, yellowing business cards, and plastic flowers at a local family-owned pizza place.
Love the little Mary statues! We have a couple of them here, both of which have the hands broken off, but I can’t bear to get rid of them. One of them had been on the dining room table for quite a while, but she recently migrated to the kitchen windowsill. I still don’t know who’s responsible for moving her 🙂
