I have a lot of feelings about Fidel Castro’s death, but I’m trying to focus on making this day about hope. Hope for something good to come out of this situation. Hope for a better future. These are things that are not tied to one person, however horrible we may “know” them to be.
So we drink to change. We drink to hope. We drink to possibilities. We drink to my dad. He probably would have had a number of choice things to say. I’ll leave it at that 🙂
Anyway, we should should celebrate what this can mean.
